Within the Global Focus team at The Bible Project, the Localization Project Coordinator’s main responsibility is to catalyze the full localization of our videos into foreign languages. From translation to voiceovers and video animation, this is an exciting, fast-paced role with a lot of responsibility for someone eager to drive projects and build relationships. You will guide our vendors, support global needs, and assist with other project development. The successful candidate will maintain a positive, solutions-oriented attitude while interacting graciously with co-workers and outside contacts. Core and Supplementary Responsibilities
You will guide our vendors, support global needs, and assist with other project development.
Coordinate each step of localizing videos and other content of our 130+ video library into languages other than English. Coordination for videos includes processes to translate, creating voice overs, and video production.
Develop and maintain relationships with translation and studio vendors while ensuring projects are on time and produced with excellence.
Oversee budget and quality assurance of each localization project.
Process invoices from vendors and reconcile against budgets. Raise flags for input when necessary.
Respond within 24 hours, as business allows, to all general localization inquiries and bring attention to unique requests, offers, etc.
Organize, attend, and participate in planning and status meetings as needed.
Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
Provide administrative support as needed.
Coordinate against contingencies within a project, foreseeing delays and reforecasting expectations.
Maintain database for localized video content and who has access to our files.
Maintain project timelines and weekly status updates of each project. Communicate needs within team and externally. Look ahead for risks and work to prevent them.
Assist in refining processes.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Relations, Project Management, or similar
2+ years experience in project coordination
Proficient in Google Drive, Excel, and similar applications
Ability to maintain organization and create organizational methods
Ability to take direction and ask questions
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Excellent prioritization skills and nimble enough to shift focus as needs arise
Basic knowledge of languages, international cultures, translation, and localization practices
Experience managing budgets
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Educated and experienced in international business
Personal interest in world culture and languages
2+ years experience working with international teams
Demonstrated leadership in executing against contracts
Experience managing $200k budgets
Experience in translation work, video production, or similar projects
This position is full-time and will operate out of our office in Portland, Oregon.

Salary varies depending upon experience
